During the reveal event last week, Nintendo announced that they were dropping region restrictions. This move will mark the first time Nintendo will release a non-region locked console. But do note that the Nintendo eShop is. Better yet, not only does this work with physical carts, but digital downloads as well by creating another eShop account.
